The Jacksonville Beach Fishing
Pier is a newly built pier with a 20-foot wide wooden deck, a
concessions area, bait shop, bathrooms, and several fish
cleaning stations. Fishermen are limited to 3 fishing rods
each. There is a small entrance fee of $4 for fishermen and $1
for spectators, with a slight discount for Duval County
residents purchasing tickets 10 or 25 at a time. Kids under 6
are free.
The pier prohibits roller
blades, surf boards, bicycles, pets, sleeping bags, fly rods,
hand lines, cast nets, shark fishing, running, throwing items
from the pier, sitting on pier railings, and jumping or diving
from the pier.
