Website Beaches Fine Arts Series In 1972 the Beaches Fine Arts Series began offering the people of the Jacksonville Metropolitan area the chance to enjoy world class music and dance in 8 free performances annually. The stunning structure of St. Paul’s by the Sea Episcopal Church in Jacksonville Beach is the setting for the majority of our concerts... All concerts are held at St. Paul’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 1150 Fifth Street North (between 11th and 12th Avenues North) in Jacksonville Beach, unless otherwise noted. All concerts are FREE and seating is first come, first served. Doors open 45 minutes prior to curtain... Website Jax Beaches Art Walk In November of '06, the founder of the Beaches Art Walk, a
native of Atlantic Beach, set out to accomplish his objective: promote
the uniqueness and sense of community at the beach. Growing up the
“beaches” meant you were a local and you stood together.
The epithet ”townie” was harsher than even
“carpet bagger,” although now is a time for solidarity.
The founder’s journey brought him to a friend and artist
of fine stature and reputation. She drafted the
initial business proposal and solicited the help of a
friend and former co-worker. The two ladies used
their extensive work experience in the world of Fine Art
to help build the foundation that would become
the Beaches Art Walk. The team of three solicited four Next Art Walk J. Johnson
Gallery Modern gallery showcasing modern and emerging artists. Full of drawings, paintings, sculpture, print and multimedia art work. | ||
